How does our current culture value the 10 commandments? What elements of our culture are contrary to them?
Which of the 10 commandments do you think is most often broken in our culture? What kinds of things show that?
The ten commandments tell us to honor our parents. As adults, how can we honor our parents? What kinds of things accomplish that?
The ten commandments tell us not to commit adultery, but Jesus tells us to go beyond just avoiding an act of adultery. What is the difference between a “faithful” marriage and a “God-honoring” marriage? How can people demonstrate that their marriage is God-honoring?
The ten commandments tell us not to steal? In what ways do you see people steal and try to justify it as not stealing?
Jesus said that loving God and loving others are the two most important commands. How do those two commands sum up all of the rest of the commandments?
